Reward Shipping Update

Books have landed, books are in transit, books and being packed.
There's a lot of books, you guys. A lot of books.
Our fulfillment partner, Studio2, has been working on shipping Geist for the past 2 weeks. Due to the sheer amount of boxes, the paperwork, and the schedule of courier pick-ups, they've broken it out into 4 segments:
Domestic, US shipments
International non-EU, non-Canadian, non-Brazilian shipments
Canadian shipments
EU & Brazilian shipments
Many of our US backers have received or will shortly receive their deliveries. I've been seeing pictures online and hearing reviews and everyone is saying the book looks awesome.
The customs paperwork for orders shipping to Canada, Brazil, and the EU is a bit more involved and complicated, so Studio2 has taken their time to get it right. Believe me, that's appreciated.
At this point, I believe all US domestic and non-paperworky international orders have shipped. I think most of the Canadian orders are either out the door or set to be picked up by tomorrow. And the remaining orders for EU- and Brazilian-backers are picked, packed and getting scheduled for ship out within the next few days.
TRACKING INFORMATION
Orders started delivering the week after they left the warehouse, so US backers began seeing orders landing around the start of the week for the easiest, closest backers, with the bulk of deliveries happening over the following days and weeks. The vast majority of backers should have their books by the end of February, and certainly by mid-March.
I'll note there are a handful of stragglers that'll take a nudge or two, and a few labels that we've still got to sort, but 99% of backers will be able to read Geist:The Sin-Eaters Second Edition by February 29th, which is Leap Day (so celebrate like you do only every 4 years!)
As the orders ship, you will (*should*) get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Once the orders ship, the fulfillment team is able to take the Tracking information and load it into the BackerKit Pledge Manager system. Your tracking information may take 2 days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.

TRACKING YOUR ORDERS
As noted on these pages, it may take up to 48 hours for Tracking Information to update. That said, tracking your packages - especially for international orders - can provide great assistance in solving minor issues before they become major issues.
International Shipping costs have gone up considerably - that's an understatement - since this project was first put together. The funds we collected during the kickstarter campaign now cover about 20%-50% of the cost of international shipping, so it's pretty important that we avoid any re-ships or additional shipping charges as much as possible. And that's where your help can really come in handy.
I've dealt with several situations where shipments were marked as "delivered" but the backer hadn't checked the tracking information for months, unaware that the package had been sitting at a neighbor's house or stuck in a local postal facility.
So, please, check your tracking number over the next few weeks. If you haven't received your package by, let's say March 15, review the tracking number to see where the issue might be.
Again, it may take up to 48 hours for any status updates to appear, and depending on the country and carrier, each package may enjoy a different transit time. But if we're three weeks into March, let's see if we can sort out any delivery issues while everything's still fresh.
For example, if Package status indicates it was delivered but you never received it
Double-check your Backerkit CONFIRMATION PAGE (as detailed above) that the correct address was provided, and maybe check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t accidentally left there. If that doesn’t turn up anything, contact the carrier or your local post office to report the package as not received and please contact me using the Contact Creator button on kickstarter to let me know you didn’t get your order.
I've seen so many orders sitting in a local post office for 8 weeks while the recipient was left unaware that it was waiting. Additionally, other backers have solved issues almost immediately with a quick call to FedEx and providing their tracking number.
It's a HUGE help to me and Onyx Path if we can solve any wayward shipment or stuck orders in February, rather than waiting until the spring when shipping systems finally give up delivery attempts and return the items to our fulfillment partner (at an extra cost to Onyx Path). Let's avoid paying for multiple return shipments if we can! Thanks for your help in advance.
NEXT STEP: DIGITAL UPDATES
The hardcover book that has delivered or will soon represents the final, completed version of Geist: The Sin-Eaters Second Edition. With that out of the way, it's time for Onyx Path to finish up on the digital side to match. The Onyx Path team is currently working with our digital distribution partners at DriveThruRPG.com to finalize the PDF and Print-on-Demand options for this book.
This involves a lot of test-printing, reviewing, and tweaking to ensure the digitally-printed On Demand versions are the best they can be. I anticipate everything being finalized in the next few weeks, and I'll be able to send out all "Near Cost" PoD redemption codes to those backers who have it on their list of rewards.
Once the PDF version is updated to the final version matching the final hardcover, DriveThruRPG will replace the existing Backer file with the complete version. Anyone who downloads the file for the first time will get the final book. Anyone who has already download the file will be able to re-download and receive the updated PDF. If you've got your communication permissions with DriveThruRPG set to receive update notifications, you'll be told when the PDF has been updated.
Again, I anticipate all of that being completed in the next few weeks.
I'll send out our regular month-end update in another few weeks, and list all of our rewards and the delivery status. We're about to move our key reward from the pending column and it's going to be amazing to have that under a new heading!

As noted in the last update, Orders have been locked down so we have final distribution counts, payments have been processed so any BackerKit Add-ons or charges have been paid, and now it's time to confirm exactly where we're shipping your rewards.

ADDRESS INFORMATION IN BACKERKIT WILL BE LOCKED ON FEBRUARY 1ST
Consider this the 48 hour warning to update your information, after which point, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as listed in our pledge manager system to the address listed in BackerKit, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. We're moving another step in our fulfillment process. As noted in the last update, Orders have been locked down so we have final distribution counts.
Now, it's time to gear up for Step 2: Payment Processing.
PREPARE FOR BACKERKIT PAYMENT PROCESSING ON JANUARY 22
We've locked in our rewards and have provided final numbers to our printing and shipping partners. Now, we've got two more key steps before fulfillment of the hardcover book:
1. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by JANUARY 22, 2022. In 9 days, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
2. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for February 2020. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by JANUARY31, 2020. In 18 days, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to begin shipping in February.

Just to pause a moment in the middle of celebration, I ask that everyone reviews their BackerKit survey to confirm rewards and lock in information. Look for instructions below on how to access your Survey again, but key follow-up steps are:

ONYX PATH ON KICKSTARTER IN 2019
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll be the case in the new year.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.

First Kickstarter of 2020: Cults of the Blood Gods
In all of Vampire: The Masquerade's history, there's never been a book wholly dedicated to the diverse faiths and cults among Kindred, the ways in which they practice, their relationships with each other, and how to utilize religion in your chronicles as a force of hope and destruction.
Cults of the Blood Gods is the book you want, if you're interested in incorporating ecclesiastical horror in your games. This book contains everything you need to have each Kindred in your coterie establish a cult, cleave to a unique faith, and establish domains in the name of an ancient methuselah, being of myth, or even the Kindred protagonists themselves.
