Originally released in 2009, Geist: The Sin-Eaters was a sleeper hit for the Chronicles of Darkness, finally bringing “life” to the realm of ghosts and death. And now this game of second chances gets a second edition, with Geist: The Sin-Eaters 2nd Edition, offering a revised and updated rules system and an expanded setting.

Hello Kickstarter Krewe,
Just wanted to throw a quick update out to let you know about Onyx Path and Gen Con 2019.
It's Gen Con James, now with 20 character sheets
As you may have read in Onyx Path's recent Monday Meeting Notes blog, they won't have a booth in the Exhibit Hall this year. But that doesn't mean that Onyx Path won't be at the convention, or that you won't be able to pick up copies of your favorite games.
Instead, Onyx Path will be running seminars and game sessions, and leave the Exhibit Hall business to their sales partners - Studio 2 Publishing and Indie Press Revolution (IPR).
The Onyx Path team (Rich, Matt, Eddy, whoever else shows up...) will mostly be participating in the following panels during the convention:
Thursday 3pm – What’s Up With Onyx Path Publishing? panel (Rich Thomas version)
Friday 11am – What’s Up with Onyx Path Community Content? panel
Friday 3pm – Freelancing with Onyx Path Publishing? panel
Saturday 11am – What’s Up with Onyx Path Publishing? panel (Rich-less version)
In addition, there are some programmed game sessions in the Event Guide.
While most of the games are currently marked as sold out this close to the convention, it's always a good idea to double-check if you're really interested. There are sometimes drop outs if people aren't feeling well or are unable to show, and a handful of generic tickets can maybe get you slotted into a vacated chair.
Of course, there will likely be a ton of pick-up and casual games over the Best Four Days in Gaming, so keep your eyes open for anyone wearing a cool T-shirt! I'll be dressed just like my avatar (although it's a few years old now, so imagine with more white in the beard!) so feel free to say hello if you see me!

It's been about 6 weeks since Onyx Path released the Geist: The Sin-Eaters 2nd Edition Backer PDF. I hope you've had a chance to read it, and I'd love to hear if anyone's had a chance to play yet...

I don't have anything as exciting as the Backer PDF to announce in this update, but wanted to make sure everyone is up to date on the progress being made on each project. I also wanted to let you know where the Onyx Path team is currently hanging out:
The Onyx Path team are gathering for the UK Game Expo! Eddy Webb, Matt McElroy, and Rich Thomas have traveled across the sea to join Matthew Dawkins, Steffie de Vaan, John Burke, Chris Allen, and Klara Herbol at the UK Games Expo this weeked, May 31st - June 2nd. If you're in the area, drop by and say hi!

Some progress there, with Memento Mori sliding into the Manuscript Approval position on the progress chart. Also, the awesome Vera Vartanian is developing One Foot in the Grave, and confirmed that it will not only include the Jumpstart scenario (as added via Stretch Goal during our campaign), but will also include the Ready-Made Characters for out-of-the-box play.

Pirates of Pugmire is a chronicle sourcebook for both Pugmire and Monarchies of Mau. It’s usable in either game, or as part of a joint experience. Some highlights include:
* Two new species for players to enjoy: lizards and birds
* Six new callings, including two for dogs and two for cats
* Rules for building, sailing, and sinking ships
* A trove of new allies, enemies, and treasures
* Information on Waterdog Port and Port Matthew
* “Going on the Account” a chronicle of three new adventures, taking characters from 1st through 6th level

Our last update was the exciting one, with the Backer PDF being sent out! It's received a really positive and warm reception! Now we're back to our regularly scheduled month end summary, just to see what we've got coming up (and how far we've come...)

A Changeling, A Sin-Eater, a Mummy, and a Hunter walk into a bar...
We may be waiting for a few Geist projects to work through the creative system, but that doesn't mean there aren't new adventures and stories to be told with our Sin-Eaters! I've mentioned the Contagion Chronicle crossover kickstarter before, but we're in the final 24 hours of the campaign, so wanted to highlight it one final time.
And, I'll start by letting others do the talking. The Botch Pit posted a quick clip reviewing the campaign and the manuscript, which has been shared in it's entirety and available to backers of the project (similar to what we did during the Geist camapign).
The world is ill. You have everything to lose through its sickness. Loss. Change. Chaos. Your own blood will rebel against you. Your own herd. Your own loved ones. Do not believe that just because you’ve had a hundred years on this Earth you’ll be exempt. Just because you were ignorant of it until now, does not make you immune. Your waking to the reality of this world — of the great machine in its heart, and the sickness in its veins — is just the first step. You must find others like you and me and make them swear to drive back this Contagion.
This world doesn’t have long left. You may be a monster, but perhaps with other monsters, you can drive back the destruction of everything.
The Contagion Chronicle includes:
• The first Chronicles of Darkness book to provide guidance on playing creatures of all kinds in a shared story.
• Systems and powers enabling teams of vampires, werewolves, mages, Prometheans, changelings, Sin-Eaters, hunters, mummies, Beasts, demons, and Deviants all in the same group, encouraging you to explore all permutations of crossover.
• A new mythos — the terrifying Contagion — acting as a catalyst for unifying disparate monsters into allied groups known as the Sworn and the False.
• Over ten settings from diverse locations all around the globe, each wracked with its own Contagion, and all waiting to be explored by the Sworn and the False.
