Originally released in 2009, Geist: The Sin-Eaters was a sleeper hit for the Chronicles of Darkness, finally bringing “life” to the realm of ghosts and death. And now this game of second chances gets a second edition, with Geist: The Sin-Eaters 2nd Edition, offering a revised and updated rules system and an expanded setting.

With the end of the year getting hectic, I thought I'd send out this month-end/year-end update a bit early... especially since I have another TWO rewards to send out!

Who wouldn't love to have a quick reference document for some of the Conditions and other rules bits at your finger tips! Keep the digital file handy, or print it out for your Storytelling toolkit. OK, not to cast a shadow on the PDF charts, but this may be a little more exciting! Memento Mori, the supplement that we built via Stretch Goal achievements, is about to be sent out to backers!

BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of MementoMori to be released. We've sent you this initial Backer PDF for three reasons:
1) To thank you for your support! You enabled this supplement to be created via Stretch Goal achievements - it wouldn't exist without you!
2) So you can start using these supplemental rules in your game right away! Who doesn't love taking the new stuff out for a spin?!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, it's time for the errata and correction process!
Onyx Path has launched a special Geist: MementoMori Errata Form, which you can access here:
Generally, we try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although they may be accessible a little longer due to the year end holidays. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.
We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note these threads will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.
Also, they already know about the Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice that you can re-download your file with the latest version. This will happen closer to when the final prestige hardcover books are getting ready to ship.
You've already made the game a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

NOW ON KICKSTARTER - CULTS OF THE BLOOD GODS
In all of Vampire: The Masquerade's history, there's never been a book wholly dedicated to the diverse faiths and cults among Kindred, the ways in which they practice, their relationships with each other, and how to utilize religion in your chronicles as a force of hope and destruction. Cults of the Blood Gods is the book you want, if you're interested in incorporating ecclesiastical horror in your games. This book contains everything you need to have each Kindred in your coterie establish a cult, cleave to a unique faith, and establish domains in the name of an ancient methuselah, being of myth, or even the Kindred protagonists themselves. Not only that, it provides the tools necessary to play members of the Clan of Death, once known as the Cappadocians, then the Giovanni, and now the Hecata, as well as new powers for members of a large number of cults, rules for creating your own religions, and an entire story set in Munich with ready-made characters, so you can play immediately upon receipt of the book.

Hello, Ghosts-with-the-Mosts,
I hope everyone's Hallowe'en was appropriately haunting, and I hope November treated everyone well. As we close down the month, it's time for my monthly update.
I can follow up on last month with the note that Geist: The Sin-Eaters Second Edition is currently with the printer. Test proofs are being created so that the team can review and ensure everything's coming out the way it should be before the print run is officially launched. My guess, just from observing a few projects now, is that things will go full steam early in the new year. So, as noted last month, now is the time to review and confirm your information in BackerKit in anticipation of our lock down and ship out in the next few months.

In Mummy: The Curse, players take on the characters of the Arisen, humans who were subjects of the greatest magic ever worked by mortal hands, the Rite of Return, in the long-lost Nameless Empire. As part of the Rite, they underwent ritual death, and their souls were eternally bound to their mortal remains. Consequently, while the Arisen can be killed, they will always return, their bodies reforming anew.
Mummy: The Curse Second Edition includes all the rules you need to play as one of the Arisen: Decrees and Pillars that reflect the transformation by the Rite of Return, Utterances and Affinities as the powers you wield and the price you pay for them, magical relics and vessels for use or sacrifice, and all manner of antagonists from immortals to Shuankhsen and others besides.

I'm sneaking in on the final day of the month to send out our regular update! It'll be super-quick, as I'm spending most of the day changing costumes! It's like a Concierge fashion show!
Pre-Review Review
The files for Geist: The Sin-Eaters Second Edition are being prepped for printing. There are still a lot of steps involved, including reviewing printer proofs and making final corrections/tweaks before the actual print process is unleashed, but we're on the precipice of moving into a major phase of the campaign.
Once the proofs are approved and actual printing has begun, I will begin our lockdown phase, where I solidify the orders and quantities and lock in everyone's order in BackerKit. We'll then process any outstanding payments (either stuff that didn't process correctly on Kickstarter or payment for Add Ons from backerkit, or pre-orders), and then I'll get everyone to confirm their shipping addresses.
If you want to get out way in front, you can review your information in BackerKit - make sure your order is correct and includes any Add On information that you needed to provide, payment information is updated and ready (if required), and your shipping address is current - or current to where you'll be in late December 2019/early 2020.
Again, we're not *quite* at that stage yet, but it's not a bad idea to give everything a once over now, so it's all good when the time comes. When I get the green light, I'll be sending out a 6-week timeline that will break these steps into regular weekly deadlines, so you'll have plenty of time to re-review!
